Frequently Asked Questions

Thomas C.

Why can’t I view hearing aid prices now after filling in the form?

Hearing Aids Specialist

We understand that price influences your purchasing decision. However, without knowing your hearing test results, we’re unable to provide you with an accurate price or recommendation. Hearing aids are not “one size fits all” so booking an appointment with a qualified audiologist can help us identify your needs, and therefore find hearing aid options tailored to you.

Why do you need my postcode and contact details?

Hearing Aids Specialist

For your convenience, we ask for your postcode to locate a clinic in your area. We ask for your phone number so that we can contact you to book an appointment time that suits you. This also gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your appointment. Your details are secure, and we won’t spam you or use your details for any other purpose than connecting you with the service(s) you need and related offers.

How do I know if I need a hearing aid?

Hearing Aids Specialist

If you suspect you, or someone close to you is experiencing hearing loss, the best way to find out is through a hearing test with a qualified audiologist. Taking an hour out of your day to have your hearing tested can significantly improve your quality of life, should you require treatment.

Will I receive any government assistance or health insurance rebates on my hearing aid?

Hearing Aids Specialist

Government assistance for hearing aids is available under the ‘Australian Government Hearing Services Program’. If you’re an Australian citizen or permanent resident with a Pensioner concession card, DVA / Gold Card, or are a recipient of a Centrelink sickness allowance, you may be eligible. Private Health Insurance rebates are available on some extras policies from most funds. We can help you determine your eligibility.
